Terms & Conditions.

1. The Pet owner is solely responsible for any and all harm or damage caused by their dog while it is under the care of Raine or Shine Dog Walks and agrees to compensate Raine or Shine Dog Walks in full against any liability arising from such harm or damage to third parties.

2. The Pet owner agrees that, in admitting their dog, Raine or Shine Dog Walks has relied on the Client’s enrolment form that their dog is in good health and has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour toward any person or any other dog.

3. All dogs will need to be booked in for a meet & greet session with Raine or Shine Dog Walks prior to using any service. Raine or Shine Dog Walks reserves the right to refuse services to any Pet deemed in their absolute discretion to be or have the potential to be, dangerous or disruptive.

4. The Pet owner agrees to notify Raine or Shine Dog Walks immediately of any aggressive, reactive, or dangerous behaviour of their Pet, that has the potential to cause harm to any other dog or individual.

5. Raine or Shine Dog Walks offer services where dogs co-mingle in groups and the Pet owner accepts that during the course of normal dog play their dog may sustain injuries. All pet play is carefully monitored to avoid injury, but scratches, punctures, torn ligaments, or other injuries may occur despite the best supervision.

6. Raine or Shine Dog Walks will only let dogs off the lead once Pet owners have confirmed on the enrolment form that this is acceptable. Allowing your Pet off lead is agreed upon at your own risk.

7. The Pet owner is responsible for the full cost of treatment of any injuries or illness that their dog receives while under the care of Raine or Shine Dog Walks, together with any associated costs e.g. call-out charges. The Pet owner authorises Raine or Shine Dog Walks to seek such veterinary advice and/or treatment as they deem necessary; where possible this will be carried out by the Pet owner’s usual/preferred Vet, but this cannot be guaranteed (e.g. in an emergency) and the Pet owner accepts that Raine or Shine Dog Walks may at their discretion use any registered Vet. The Pet owner agrees to pay all such costs immediately upon pick-up of their dog, or by agreement with the proprietor.

8. Raine or Shine Dog Walks reserves the right to refuse admission if the Pet owner fails to provide adequate proof of vaccinations, including Kennel cough, or the vaccinations are found to be expired.

9. Female dogs may not attend Raine or Shine Dog Walks while in season or pregnant. Raine or Shine Dog Walks reserves the right to refuse admission if this is the case.

10. The Pet owner accepts that even though their dog is vaccinated against Kennel Cough there is a chance that their dog can still contract Kennel Cough. The Pet owner agrees that they will not hold Raine or Shine Dog Walks responsible if their dog contracts Kennel Cough while attending.

11. The Pet owner agrees to take any necessary measures or precautions to ensure that their dog is continuously free of contagious, infectious, or otherwise communicable diseases. The Pet owner further agrees to notify Raine or Shine Dog Walks immediately of any infectious and/or contagious disease or conditions their dog has been exposed to or is affected by. Such diseases and conditions include, but are not limited to Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough, Parvovirus, Coronavirus, worms, Lyme disease, Fleas, Pregnancy, Infectious Skin Diseases, and Intestinal Parasites. Raine or Shine Dog Walks reserves the right to refuse admission until satisfied that the condition is resolved.

12. The Pet owner consents to their dog being photographed, videotaped, and/or used in any media or advertising by Raine or Shine Dog Walks without prior approval. All such media remain the property of Raine or Shine Dog Walks.

13. The Pet owner agrees that Raine or Shine Dog Walks is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged leads, collars, tags, clothing, or any other item left with their dog.

14. The Pet owner agrees to ensure their dog has not eaten in the hour before pick up by Raine or Shine Dog Walks to ensure sufficient time to digest food before any exercise or play. This is to avoid any potentially life-threatening health conditions such as Gastric Torsion.

16. Where pet sitting services are required, a 20% deposit must be paid to confirm the booking. This is refundable up until 72 hours before the proposed booking date.

17. Raine or Shine must be informed of any walk cancellations at least 24 hours prior to the day & time it is due. Please note that in the cases this is not carried out, full payment will be required.

18. Services, charges, days, and times are to be agreed upon by both parties and set out in writing. The utmost care will be provided whilst watching both your pet(s) and your home. Raine or Shine Dog Walks will complete the agreed-on services and the Pet owner agrees to provide all necessary information to assist in this performance.

19. Raine or Shine Dog Walks will provide the services agreed upon in a reliable, caring, and trustworthy manner. Raine or Shine Dog Walks agrees to notify the Pet owner of any occurrence regarding the pet which may be relevant to their care and well-being of them.

20. Raine or Shine Dog Walks agrees to keep safe and confidential all keys, remote control entry devices, access codes, and personal information of the Pet owner and to return same to the Pet owner at the end of the services period or immediately upon demand.

21. Whilst there is always the intent to arrive at the allotted time, there is always an hour window of time allowed to pick up and drop off your dog i.e. a 10 am pick up can mean any time between 9 am and 11 am.

22. No variation of these Terms and Conditions will have effect unless confirmed by Raine or Shine Dog Walks in writing.
